More of the GOP is Calling Out Trump’s Election Lies…

As we continue to learn more about Donald Trump’s baseless and discredited claims about the 2020 election, some Republicans have begun realizing this themselves and even speaking on the matter. Here’s a look at some of last week’s revelations that’re almost eight months behind the rest of us living in reality.

In Michigan, the investigation into the election results led by the state’s Senate Republicans finally concluded that it “found no evidence of widespread or systematic fraud in Michigan’s prosecution of the 2020 election.” For those who don’t remember, President Joe Biden won Michigan by more than 150,000 votes. This debunks – for the 800th time – that Michigan had votes changed from Trump to Biden and that the state did not have more votes than voters like the Dorito Gambino says on his failed blog.

Down in the southwest of the US, a report that was co-authored by the former Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson scrutinized the “fraudit” being led by the Florida-based company Cyber Ninjas (that is owned by a Q nut). Grayson stated that the audit of the election results in Arizona “does not meet the standards of a proper election recount or audit,” and that the “fraudit’ is being conducted by an “inexperienced, unqualified contractor.” A quick reminder for everyone that Cyber Ninjas cited its previous clients included JP Morgan Chase and Citibank; however, both corporations have commented that they have no idea who Cyber Ninjas are, and they have never employed them for their “expertise.”

And as recently as this weekend, former Attorney General Bill Barr spoke with ABC’s Jon Karl, who writes for the Atlantic, went on to debunk Trump’s claims about the 2020 election results. “If there was evidence of fraud, I had no motive to suppress it. But my suspicion all the way along was that there was nothing there,” Barr said. “It was all bullshit.” Sounds like someone is doing major damage control after Rudy Giuliani was disbarred last week.

To nobody’s surprise, Donald Trump lashed out at the findings by his fellow GOP.

“Michigan State Senators Mike Shirkey and Ed McBroom are doing everything possible to stop Voter Audits in order to hide the truth about November 3rd,” the former guy said. His statement even included the phone numbers for those state senators. As for the former president’s response on his own AG, Trump said that “RINO former Attorney General Bill Barr failed to investigate election fraud, and really let down the American people.”

Even though there has been numerous recounts and audits on the 2020 election results, there is still one-third of Americans who believe that President Biden’s 2020 win was due to voter fraud. Surprisingly, they still believe this even after how ridiculous, flimsy, and discredited the fraud allegations are — even Bill Barr thinks it’s all bullshit.
