Feeling Cute… Might Run For President

Trump is a man that reinvented himself often. I always knew him as the rich real estate guy that loved gold. He appeared in some shows that highlighted the lifestyle of rich and famous people. He was someone I knew existed but had no real opinion of. Then he joined the reality show scene. That is where I formed my first opinion of Donald Trump. I decided I did not like him and he was a mean spirited person. People had all kinds of reality shows and of all things one could do he chose to fire people for fun. He took pride in making that smug face of his and telling someone they were fired. I realize it was tv and most of it was probably not real but what was real to me was he seemed very mean spirited.

He appeared on The View. One of his appearances he and Rosie O’Donnell got into a fight on the show and a feud started from there. He called her fat and she teased his hair. It made me believe even more that he was mean spirited and he did not like women. That view of mine changed when I saw an interview his daughter, Ivanka, had given. She seemed to be nice and kind so maybe I was wrong in the view I had of him. Maybe this was him putting on a show and I bought into his evil villain character.

At some point he began to speak out against Obama. He was helping to spread the birtherism lie. Once again it was okay for me to dislike him again and I added racist to the list of words that I called him. As Maya Angelo said “when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” He was everything I thought and worse. They say Obama is the reason he decided to run for president. Not sure if I believe it but I do feel that it may have been part of his motivation to do better than a black man.

He runs for president and he turns out to be even worse than I could have imagined. I added sexual assaulter after I heard the tape of him saying grab them by the pu**y because I am famous and they let me get away with it. This had me so upset and I knew there was no way he would be president after a tape surfaced of him admitting he sexually assaulted women just because he could. Poor little naïve Joyce was so very wrong.

Trump became the 45th president of the United States. The amount of scandals that happened during his administration is unprecedented. I think he beat the Nixon scandals by a country mile. So many of the people in his administration went to jail and the one that rings out to me the most is Michael Cohen. He famously said he would take a bullet for Mr. Trump. He ended up taking a bullet for sure. Cohen was his fixer. He was the lawyer that Trump employed to get him out of sticky situations. I always wondered why he put him in the forefront to be examined by investigative reporters.

Trump was feeling cute as the kids say. He thought it was fine to run for president. He thought putting his fixer out front would keep him from having to deal with the reporters. I remember the famous Air Force One interview where he was boarding Air Force One and they asked him about the payments to Stormy and he said “why don’t you ask Michael Cohen?” The beginning of investigators looking into Cohen and him eventually spending time in jail. How do you upset the one person who knows all your secrets? This is the guy that is your fixer so he knows more than anyone else would. Why make him mad ever?

Trump complained a few times about how people liked him more when he was not president. He is under investigation by NY. Today Weisselberg was arrested and arraigned and Trump lawyers for his business made statements of how this is a political witch hunt. He said if the name of the company was something else they would not be looking into the company at all. My thought on the matter is if Trump wasn’t feeling himself and decided he should run for president no one would take a fine tooth comb through his life. He was looked at before by NY as a businessman and they found absolutely nothing they could charge him with, but that was before he pissed off his fixer. Trump put himself in this place. He felt like he was smarter than everyone. I can tell you that if you have criminal activity in your life don’t run for president and don’t upset the guy who you handed the bodies to and told him to go bury them. I know at least one tape that surfaced of Trump talking to Cohen about Karen McDougal’s hush money payments and the name Weisselberg came up on the tape. I believe it was Cohen who taped this. If so, who only tapes one tape? Are there more tapes? Did he tape Weisselberg? Why did none of this come up in the hearing?

I believe it was Roger Stone and Rudy Giuliani that talked him into running for president. They believed a president could get away with anything while he was president. Now we are about to find out how true it is. Will our system protect him because he is president? Will he end up doing some kind of house arrest? Many questions I do not have the answer to but if he was never feeling cute he would not be in this much trouble. I look forward to what we will be finding out in the next coming months.
