WKRP In Cincinnati Star Howard Hesseman Dies at 81- Entertainment News
Actor Howard Hesseman, known for his role as disc jockey Dr. Johnny Fever on the sitcom WKRP IN CINCINATTI passed away January 29,2022, in Los Angeles, California from complications from colon surgery he had last summer. He was 81.
Hesseman portrayed DJ John “Dr. Johnny Fever” Caravella on WKRP IN CINCINATTI (1978-1982) throughout the series run. He was also known for playing History teacher Charlie Moore in seasons 1-4 of the popular sitcom HEAD OF THE CLASS (1986-1991). Hesseman appeared in a cameo as The Chief in one of my favorite films, CLUE (1984).
