Bon Jovi Musician Alec John Such Dies at 70 – Entertainment News
Alec John Such, one of the founding members and the bassist for rock band Bon Jovi, passed away June 5. No cause of death was given. He was 70.
Bon Jovi posted a statement on their Twitter saying “We are heartbroken to hear the news of the passing of our dear friend Alec John Such. He was an original. As a founding member of Bon Jovi, Alec was integral to the formation of the band…” He was credited with bringing the band together and was remembered as a dear friend who was “wild and full of life”.
Such played with Bon Jovi from 1983-1994, playing on the band’s first five albums when they had hits such as” You Give Love a Bad Name” “Livin’ On a Prayer”, “Wanted Dead or Alive”, and “Bad Medicine”.
For his contribution to Bon Jovi, Such was enshrined in the Rock and roll Hall of Fame in 2018 alongside his band mates.
