Actor Robert Carradine Dies At Age 71 – Entertainment News

Robert Carradine died on Monday, 23 February. He was 71.

He took his own life after struggling with Bipolar Disorder for two decades.

The actor, born on 24 March, 1954, was a member of the Carradine dynasty with father John and older brothers David, Keith and Christopher.

He made his movie debut in “The Cowboys” with John Wayne and went on to star in “Coming Home” and “Mean Streets”.

With his brothers he played in Walter Hill’s “The Long Riders”, but he became best known as the head nerd Lewis Skolnick in “Revenge of the Nerds”, also starring Anthony Edwards.
A new generation of fans discovered him as the father in the “Lizzie McGuire” series.

David Carradine is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers, nieces and nephews.
