Kiki Shepard ‘Showtime at the Apollo’ Co-Host Dies At 74 – Entertainment News

Kiki Shepard, the co-host of the long-running variety show “Showtime at the Apollo,” died on Monday, 16 March, from a heart attack. She was 74.
She was born Chiquita Renee Shepard in 1951 in Tyler, Texas.
She co-hosted “Showtime at the Apollo” from 1987 – 2002 and became known as “Apollo Queen of Fashion”.
She also had recurring roles in “A Different World” and “Waywatch”. Other TV credits included “Lady Boss”, “NYPD Blue”, “Family Law” and “Grey’s Anatomy”.
