CNN Founder Ted Turner Dies at 87 – Entertainment News

Media mogul Ted Turner died on Wednesday, 6 May. He was 87. He founded CNN, the first 24-hour network, in 1980 which became a global success. He purchased the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks. The Braves won the World Series in 1995. In 1997 he donated 1 billion dollars to The United Nations. Ted Turner is survived by his children and grandchildren.
