Amy Winehouse: CAUSE OF DEATH REVEALED

Amy Winehouse’s death sparked a lot of speculation as to why she left this world at the young age of 27, with most of it surrounding drugs, but it may have been something else. Her family blames Winehouse quitting alcohol cold turkey as the reason why she died.

“People who drink heavily and stop suddenly may go through alcohol withdrawal, which can cause symptoms ranging from anxiety to tremors to full-blown seizures and delusions,” said Sam Zakhari, director of the metabolism and health effects division at the National Institute of Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. “Sometimes, this can affect the heart, causing cardiac arrhythmia, and in rare cases, this can be fatal.”

Winehouse’s self-destructive life seems to be the culprit no matter what. Whether it was directly drugs and alcohol or it was a residual effect of years of mistreating her body, it was still the same reason and an unfortunate loss for the music world.
