Gene Simmons – Shannon Tweed Marriage Proposal UPDATE: BREAKING NEWS

Last night A & E ran a Gene Simmons Family Jewels Marathon which I caught the last three episodes again. I know this is Reality TV and most of it is BS. However, and maybe I am just a romantic, I really think that Gene and Shannon went through major problems in their relationship and that on the last episode when Gene proposed, he was 100% sincere.

Sure he is the master at becoming his character in Kiss.
But the look in his eyes and body language when he got down on one knee and proposed, were totally real to me. In our country where we just saw the first ever down grade in our AAA credit rating, and so much crazy shit going on, I think the world if just for a moment, enjoyed the scene Gene and Shannon created.

This is why the story was so big around the world. Stay tuned for the Fall season of A & E Gene Simmons Family Jewels and the final closure if they did in fact, get married….
