Brock Lesnar Vs Alistair Overeem & A Return to the WWE

By “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

Brock Lesnar, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and former multiple time WWE Champion (pro wrestling) is signed to face Alistair Overeem in a high profile bout to take place at the end of the year.

Lesnar has done the best out of all of the professional wrestlers that have tried their hand at mixed martial arts. Bobby Lashley, another WWE import to the world of cage fighting failed miserably when placed against an average fighter. Lesnar is so huge and powerful that his flaws don’t mean as much as he pounces forward, although he has had problems with strikers that have a boxing background and know how to use their fast hands and movement against him.

A fight with Overeem is a do or die situation. If he wins, he gets another crack at the UFC Heavyweight title, and if he loses, he disappears, but there are plans being made in the backrooms that he will return to the WWE should he lose, according to various reports.

Lesnar is a hot ticket no matter what sort of fighting he does, and the UFC and WWE are both looking to make money with him. The bout with Overeem will determine his future either way.
