Rashad Evans – Phil Davis UFC Results – FOX FIGHT NIGHT

Rashad Evans out-muscled Phil Davis en route to a decision win. The fight wasn’t close as Evans pushed Davis around the ring, but the guy couldn’t close the show. What was Jon Jones thinking? Evans is getting Jones next, but his inability to stop Davis doesn’t give a lot of support to the idea that he will cease the reign of my friend, Jon Jones.

Davis showed all sorts of heart but was out of his league. Evans won every round and earned the fight, but can he beat Jones? Chitty-Chitty, Bang-Bang, Vinnie-Vinnie, Frank-Frank, I think not.

Chael Sonnen was a lot of talk brother after his win over Michael Bisping, but he didn’t do much in the ring. Although he walked away with a decision win, he didn’t walk through Bisping. This was a fight and the Brit put up a good fight. The guy did better than expected and Sonnen should take some of that talk and put the energy toward focusing on his game. The Vinster wasn’t impressed.
