3 Doors Down Vehicular Homicide SHOCKER – Robert Todd Harrell DRUGS & BOOZE LOCK UP

By Geno McGahee

Robert Todd Harrell, 41, the bassist for the rock band “3 Doors Down,” was arrested for a fatality on the road that was caused by his drinking and driving. He is currently facing charges that include vehicular homicide by intoxication, violation of the implied consent law, contraband, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

According to reports, the musician was driving under the influence and speeding on Friday night. He would strike a pick up truck, forcing it to lose control, smashing into a guardrail and ejecting the driver. He died from the event.

Harrell admitted that he was drinking and taking prescription pills prior to driving. The police discovered controlled substances that he brought into jail, which included Oxycodone pills and Xanax pills.

Let’s hope that this band doesn’t use its remaining popularity to help Harrell get away with this senseless death. He belongs in prison. We’ll have to see if it turns out that way.
