David Haye PULLS OUT of Tyson Fury FIGHT – BOXING NEWS

By Geno McGahee

In no surprise, David Haye, 26-2, 24 KO’s, has once again pulled out of a fight with Tyson Fury, 21-0, 15 KO’s, citing a shoulder injury. Fury predicted that Haye would not take the fight when it was moved to February and he was not the only one that thought that the once promising heavyweight would pull out. Haye was once considered the savior of the division but after a terrible non-performance against Wladimir Klitschko, his star dimmed. His bark is bigger than his bite and now it seems that all he does is bark.

Initially, he probably wanted to fight Tyson Fury, but when he came face to face with him, the bravado of Fury may have scared Haye. It scared him out of the fight completely and now Fury must move on to other options. This Haye on again/off again fight has cost him what will be a year on the shelf at the end of the day.

Haye should no longer be considered at all as a fighter and Fury and the rest of boxing needs to move on.
