Leo Santa Cruz SHOCKS the Boxing World – Breaking News

The 2016 boxing year is set to start with a bang in Southern California, as three division world champion and current WBA Featherweight Champion, Leo “El Famoso Terremoto” Santa Cruz and his team which includes long time friend and business partner Andres Moreno are set to host their inaugural boxing event on Friday January 15th at the Radisson Hotel in Ontario, California. In late 2015 the Santa Cruz family established Last Round Promotions, a promotion company that will help showcase some of boxing’s top young prospects. With Leo still active in boxing as a current world champion, Andres will be heavily involved in showcasing the young fighters signed to Last Round. Current fighters signed to Last round include, Paul “El Gallo Negro” Mendez, 19-2-2, 9 KO’s, Victor Betancourt, 20-1, 8 KO’s, Jose Gomez, 4-0, Flavio Rodriguez, 3-0, 2 KO’s, Ruben Martinez, 3-0, 1 KO, Antonio Santa Cruz, 1-1, and Fabian Osegueda, 9-0-1, 6 KO’s.

With Southern California being a hotbed for boxing the start of Last Round Promotions will not only give fight fans a great opportunity to watch and support local talent, but give these local talented fighters a chance to show their skills, and hunger for the sweet science.The fighters being showcased on the January 15th are guaranteed to bring fireworks to the crowd in Ontario.
