Tony “Bomber” Bellew has 3 names on his list of possible targets to fight, the Liverpool fighter is looking to build on his excellent stoppages of former World Heavyweight Champion and former Unified Cruiserweight World Champion, David Haye.

Bellew is certainly looking to trade with former Lineal World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, 26-0-0, 19 KO’s and would relish the fight with the “Gypsy King”, however, according to promoter Eddie Hearn, this would not be a fight that could happen next for Bellew as Fury looks to build momentum over the next 12 months to return to the Heavyweight championship scene, Hearn added “Tony will need to be patient to make this fight”.

However, Bellew certainly feels he could beat Fury and said “If I fight Fury, I could fight again as I don’t think it will be hard to beat him and that one fight could potentially earn five times more than Usyk or Gassiev. It’s just plain stupid to not think about that, Fury is a perfect opponent for me. I still think he’s a brilliant fighter and a good bloke but he has never faced someone quicker, stronger and who has this much to his game”.

Bellew is also looking to make a rematch against Adonis Stevenson, 29-1-1, 24 KO’s. Stevenson recorded the victory against Bellew in their previous meeting at light-heavyweight. The Liverpool fighter, clearly struggling to make weight for their previous encounter, feels he can avenge the defeat with the pair meeting in a catchweight contest allowing the Liverpool fighter to enter the ring stronger and better prepared for the challenge this time around.

Also, on Bellew’s list of possible opponents is Andre Ward, 32-0, 16 KO’s a fight that Bellew has wanted for a while. Ward is still in the gym and Bellew feels he has not yet “fully retired” and that the fight is certainly a possibility.

Ward had announced that he was “totally in” when asked about fighting Bellew, stating he was waiting for a call from Hearn with a deal to make the fight happen.

Bellew would certainly have to bring his A-game to the table to beat Andre Ward, whom many still hold in very high regard as a pound for pound great.
