Huge WWE Announcement: WWE Network for Free?

By Sean Farrell

We have been hearing the $9.99 WWE Network plugs endlessly on WWE programming over the last few months. The reason for this is Vince McMahon and Co. Want to reach 1 million subscribers by year’s end. As of September 30th, the WWE Network has 731,000 subscribers, which isn’t a bad number, but isn’t where the company hoped to be entering this year’s 4th quarter. So what does the WWE do now? Well…Why not push the Network even more? And that’s exactly what they’re doing.

The WWE released a statement on how the WWE Network will be FREE for all new subscriptions started in the month of November! This is definitely something worth checking out if you’re an avid wrestling fan, or a new fan who missed some of the iconic moments of the past. I personally watch the WWE Network more than anything else nowadays. Reliving old events from WWF/E, WCW & ECW add an amazing nostalgic element to the Network. Every PPV, RAW, Smackdown, and even old episodes of ECW TV and WCW Nitro are at your disposal on demand. And here’s the best part. No more dropping $50-$60 on LIVE PPVs anymore either. With the WWE Network, you get every current PPV also, for of course, $9.99. And if you subscribe after today’s announcement, this year’s Survivor Series will also be FREE for new subscribers! Cant beat a deal like this, honestly.
