Rey Mysterio Returning to WWE?

Rey Mysterio was reportedly in Buffalo, New York for Monday Night RAW. According to reports, Mysterio was there to talk to McMahon directly about wanting to leave the company.
WWE’s creative team reportedly has been actively working on concepts to reintroduce Mysterio as a regular, so there are those that believe he will be coming back. WWE really wants him back, as Mysterio is a huge draw.
Rey is currently looking to take a break from wrestling once his WWE contract expires in the spring. Sources say he is interested in acting in Mexico as well as doing other non-wrestling projects. Mysterio was rumored to be interested in AAA but according to a source this is not true.
“He’s been doing this for over 20 years and between the injuries and the mental burn out, he has no interest in AAA, Underground or re-upping with WWE,” the source said.
