Andre Ward Vs Sullivan Barrera: Coming Soon – Breaking Boxing News

Andre Ward is apparently close to a finalizing a deal to face undefeated Sullivan Barrera on March 26th in a fight to be televised on HBO. Barrera, with a record of 17-0, 12 KOS, is coming off a 5th round knockout victory over former champion Karo Murat in December. This will be Ward’s second fight on the comeback trail since his 19 month hiatus from the ring between November 2013 and June 2015. In spite of Barrera’s impressive undefeated record, I simply don’t think he is in Andre Ward’s class. Barrera doesn’t even rate a top 20 ranking in RSR Light Heavyweight rankings. The prediction here is an easy decision win for Andre.

Then, hopefully, we can really get down to business with the highly matchup between Ward and exciting Light Heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev, who has what should be an easy tune up match of his own with Jean Pascal on January 30th. Enough with the appetizers men! We boxing fans want to sit down to dinner!
