RSR Weight Class Rankings Updated – Breaking Boxing News

RSR-CHANNEL-ICONAt Super Middleweight after this past weekend’s action. Gilberto Ramirez rises up to # 11 after his convincing victory over fellow contender Derek Edwards who falls to # 15. Rocky Fielding also rises a couple of spots to # 17 after his demolition of Brian Vera. Some other contenders may have moved up or down a spot due to these changes.

At Middleweight Dominic Wade makes a splash in the rankings at # 8 by narrowly and controversially defeating long time contender Sam Soliman, who will fall just under Wade at #9 due to the close and controversial nature of his loss. The #20 Matthew Macklin will exit the top 20 to make room for Wade’s entry. Some other contenders may have moved up or down a spot due to these changes.

At Welterweight Tim Bradley holds his #3 spot in defeating Jesse Vargas, who will fall one spot to #16 due to his somewhat competitive and controversial, due to the ending, loss. Some other contenders may have moved up or down a spot due to these changes.

At Lightweight, former Jr. Lightweight contender Diego Magdaleno moved up and defeated #15 Jose A. Gonzalez. Magdaleno will take the #15 spot, while Gonzalez exits the top 20 due to his poor showing.

At Jr. Lightweight, to fill Diego Magdaleno’s gap, the Japanese champ Rikki Naito, 13-0, 5 KO’s, joins the rankings at #20. Some other contenders may have moved up or down a spot due to these changes.

At Flyweight, Amnat Ruenroeng holds his #2 spot defeating fellow contender John Riel Casimero in a convincing if albeit ugly win. Casimero falls two spots to #17 with the loss.
